Hamilton Township
PAL
The Hamilton Township Police Activities League (PAL) is entering its 30th year of serving the children of this community. Thirty years ago, Lt. Brian P. Cavanaugh, who was a Patrol Officer at the time, initiated this program. He decided that it would be better to meet your children on the “playing court” as opposed to juvenile court. As a result, the Hamilton Township Police Activities League was born. We will preserve the goal of breaking down barriers and establishing an environment of trust and understanding.
We have had a variety of programs throughout the years, but our largest and longest standing are basketball and dance. We continue our efforts in maintaining quality, yet reasonably affordable, activities for our township youth. We also sponsor a number of events throughout the year with the Township of Hamilton Police Department, such as the Eggstravaganza! Egg Hunt, Police Youth Leadership Academy, National Night Out, Shop with a Cop.
We are 100% volunteer run, which means that families do not have to pay higher registration fees to cover salaries. Many of our volunteers are past PAL participants.
